Plastering and Drylining
Traditional wet plastering
An ancient craft utilized in construction, remains a preferred method due to its ability to emulate traditional aesthetics, provide effective soundproofing, and securely accommodate fixtures within the wall structure. Additionally, it yields a durable, smooth finish, making it well-suited for challenging areas such as door and window reveals, and enhances air tightness around openings.

Dry lining
Dry lining offers a straightforward and efficient alternative to traditional wet plaster. In this system, plasterboards are either directly attached to the wall or secured to metal sections, wooden battens, or framing, ensuring airtightness and sound insulation with sealant applied at joints. A skim coat of plaster then provides a smooth finish. Dry linings are lightweight and can enhance a building's energy efficiency by quickly warming up, while allowing for easy installation of services with minimal disruption.
